about

I struggled to get started on this project for quite a long time. Eventually, one windy evening in my old top floor tenement flat in Glasgow, the sound of the tree outside, rustling in the wind, inspired me to sit at the piano and write this tune. I stuck a couple of mics out the window and recorded that tree. It’s the sound you can hear all through this track. The words and song were written by Lori. This track is inspired by our time in that special flat in Glasgow, and moments of reflection between the surrounding chaos.

lyrics

Ticking, counting, passing
Measure up the problems, measure up the time
Beautiful dissaray
Time to save us now
Can you remember how we used to be?
How we used to wonder
Stare out the horizon and laugh

More good than harm

Moving Forward
